christmas

Well it's over and I still can't believe it. Where has the time gone. Christmas was nice. We didn't get a chance to see the family's, but I hope to see everyone this weekend. I miss my mom alot. She would have enjoyed seeing the kids open their new Nintendo wii. Their faces were classic. It's always great when you can surprise the kids. we had them believing that we couldn't get the wii until income taxes. they were way fun to watch. unfortunately Chris has to head back to work that same night. I really hate being away from each other. I find as I get older I tend to miss him more and more. the job is OK, but I think after the new year I am going to look for a job closer to home and back in the medical field. I am just not a night person to do these crazy hours and then the casino is going to combine 3 banks into 1 and we don't get a raise. oh happy joy!!
I am happy that I have a job but I am definitely going to start looking.

OMG it's almost x-mas

When did December sneak up on us.???? This year has flown by so quickly. We had a nice thanksgiving with my in-laws and Noni and Uncle Bob. Beth and Amber were able to get up also. I missed my Dad this year and he never made it up over the weekend. He has 2 little girls that keep him very busy and hopefully they keep each other out of trouble. (hahaha)
For those of you who don't know Courtney has been having some minor problems and has to have some test run. She's going to be ok, but this is the time that I really miss my mom!!! But I am lucky and have a great Big Brother who has a really sick sense of humor and put everything in prospective for me.
Christopher is doing well, he is lonely and misses his easy access to his friends. It is harder in the winter because it gets dark so quickly. The Harmon clan(minus mom) went hunting and none of my warriors got a deer. Oh well they will have to try harder next time. especially if they want homemade jerky.

I am almost ready for christmas, even though it snuck up on me. I really am not happy at my job and I think in mid January after everyone lays off there holiday help I will start looking for something better. The hours just suck. I am not a 4 to midnight type of person.

Thanksgiving alrady!!!!

It's hard to believe that thanksgiving is only 6 days away. I seem to be working all of the time. I am not wild about this full time stuff, but I do like the paycheck. The Casino is very boring when it is not race season. I maybe have 2 hours worth of work if I drag it out and then I get to be bored for the rest of the 6 to 8 hours that I am here. I wish my boss would learn how to schedule. There is no reason why we can not have a set schedule. He is such a dweeb.

For those o fyou who haven't heard Courtney took first seat in County band and is going to Williamsport to try out for District band. (fingers crossed everyone). My mom would have been so proud of her. Christopher lettered in Soccer and we are soooo pleased with him. I immediately took his coat over to have his letter put on and now we are just waiting for them to call. Both kids are doing great in school. Court made high honors and Bub is only 2 points away from honors. He has come along way since school has started.

Neither are dating thank God.

well I have confess that I have gained 5 pounds, but i have started to count what I eat again and hope to get off quickly. I have a lot of down time in this job so I have decided that I will just keep walking in circles and that way I at least am getting some excerise.

november already

I can' t believe November is here already. The kids had a great time trick or treating. Bubba was a mobster and court was the witch from oz. My job is ok it's just boring right now I only work maybe 90 minutes out of the 8 hours that I'm here. For some that is fine but for me i get really bored.

My brother and his family moved into the Bear's this last weekend and now all the Folmar's are together. I am slowly getting his bedroom organized. I can't believe how much crap a person can accumulate in 65 years. Oh well it's slowly getting labeled and stored.

The girls seemed excited about thier new home. I think Dad is going to spoil them with all his cooking and treats. He loves that there is more than one person to cook for. They are either all going to gain weight or loose it, but it will be done together as a family all 5 of them.

Chris is going to have a birthday next week and I have no Idea what to do for him.

work sucks sometimes

There are sometimes when work can remind you so much of high school. Some people just never grow up. I am so thankful that I can stay in my little hole and not be with the public on days like today. It seems that the shit is hitting the fan in all the departments and I am staying under the radar as much as possible. We had two people just walk off the job in my department and I am waiting to see what happens there and then one of the supervisors is on the war path and we can't seem to do anything right. The money isn't faceing the right direction. it's not put in the bundle neatly, etc, etc. I am just bitting my tongue and keeping quite and hopefully she won't come after me.

On a plus note I just spent my whoel paycheck and bought my bike. I am hoping chris can borrow a truck so that I can get home from the casino. It's blue and has 3 speeds and my basket in the back. Look out Sayre because here I come. I can't wait to go out and also embaress my kids. YEAH!!!!

hello

well I had a very nice anniversery. Chris and I went to the pocono's for the day. It was great for just him and I to do something together. It's been very hard what with my new job and him working on dad's house.
the kids are doing well and keeping busy. they don't have school this friday so Court is going to spend some one on one with her Bear and Christopher has a soccer tournament all day on Saturday so I don't think he will make the hayride. which really sucks. I have to talk to my brother and see if there is some way I can meet him some were so that he can go. I work until 6.30pm so that is going to make it hard.

I finally got to see the new floor at dad's it beautiful. My mom would have loved it. Tammy has picked out great appliances I trjied to take them home but they would not fit in my car LOL

Da'd room is almost done and looking great we are just waiting for his furniture so that I can move him in NEATLY.on the wieght issue still hovering at 290 so at least there is no gain.
I may have foud a bike for me. It's a tricycle(i know old person bike) but i can't wait to go out with the kids.

anniversery season

Well let's just say that I forgot to call my brother-in-law and his wife for their anniv. and I forgot to call my brother and his wife for their anniv. and mine is coming up this monday. and I really should not for get this stuff because their anniv are right before mine. BAM all right in a row. sometimes my brain is just fried. Well to those of you who know James wish him and his lovely wife, Tammy, happy anniversery. and those of you who know David and his wife darling wife,Michelle, same to them. And those of you who wish to remember me and Chris we will be doing the big 17-OMG can you believe it????? AACK! with the same man.

Kids are doing well. Soccer is winding down and bowling is winding up.
Marching band goes to the end of october and then we pick up jazz, pep, flute ensable, solo's and county band start up. busy,busy. Is it the weekend yet??

october already

I can't believe that tomorrow is october. were has the summer gone. Sorry that it has been so long since i have written. I seem to always be on the go. So let's play catch up.

Christopher- is doing so much better at school and starting to act like a typical teenage boy. We still have some issues but we are getting through it one day at a time. His birthday was a big success. We had 18 kids at the bowling lanes and they had a blast. My nieces bowled and it was so fun to watch them. They are a great joy and my nephew came also and he was so funny and he loves to play with Katie and Sarah. Bubba's friends were good with the little ones. and everyone seemed to have enjoyed themselves. Christopher is doing well in scoccer. He now plays goalie and defender which he really likes. His coach is weird, but courtney says that's just him. Bubba started his last year of CCD and will recieve confermation at the end of may. He has to research a saint, we are not sure if he can use st christopher, not sure if he is still a st, so he is going to find out this weekend and if not he will have to pick another name. He has yet to ask his Uncle Jim to stand up for him, but he plans on it.
Christopher has decided that Uncle Jim and HIS GREAT AUNT TAMMY are pretty cool with gifts, they got him his eagles jersey and I have topry it off him to wash it. UGGHHH!!! stinky.

Courtney is well as always. We have some responsibilitie issues, but she's your typical teenage girl. Her grades are excellent as usual. She is studing hard and trying to figure out if she can raise enough money to go to Canada with her french class. I am working on getting her a passport, just in case. She is also trying to raise money to go to Philly this year with the FBLA group.

Chris is still working on dad's place and it is coming together quickly. before you know it Jim and his family will be in. It's exciting and sad. Mom would be amazed at all that they have done to the house. Alot if it was what she wanted to do. Can't believe she's been gone for so long. Well I wish we were closer to moving to NC but not yet a few more years.

The weather has started to get damp and chilly and I am starting to pay the price for it. At least now I can sit in the hot tub while the kids swim. that helps a little bit.

Work is ok. Still not my favorite place to be but at least my schedule has evened out a little bit. I am slowly getting more day hours. thank goodness.

Well on the weight issue still haven't lost any more, but I haven't gained any so that's ok.

it's that time of year

I can't believe that tomorrow my mom would have been 61. It just seems like yesterday we were talking about my marriage and then it seemed like I was telling her we were pregnant with "courtney" who suppose to be a boy and named Andrew Christopher. Needless to say she was great about rushing around and buying girl clothes. And then low and behold I was telling her we were pregnant again and it was supoose to be a boy and that he was due around her birthday and she was so excited but I could not have the baby on the 19th because she wasn't going to share that day but I could have it before or after becasue that would be a great birthday gift. And now my baby is going to 13 and she's not here to see it or hug him. for some one who could be a bitch she was really special.

Well courtney has taken up another instrument. It is part of the clarinet family and thankfully the school has one that she can use. She just amazes me sometimes.

Christopher is doing much better at school. His councelor has helped alot. I think this weekend is going to special and sad at the same time. He really misses his Nana and crys for quite often. I noticed that he has been having trouble sleeping as the weekend grows closer, hopefully with my dad coming up they can help each other.

Chris has done a wonderful job on my dad's house. I haven't been able to get down to see it lately because of my crappyyyyyy hours but I hope to get there someday before Jim and Tam and the kids move in.

On the weight front I gained 2 pounds but that's alright I swear I am the only persone who gets sick and gains weight. I hope to get over to the pool and work out this weekend if possible. It's a really busy one for the Harmon's.

here we go again

Well here I am at work again and it is really slow. I am working the 6-3 shift and let me tell you My boss was working the day shift and he sucks at being a banker. He left me such a mess and wasn't even sorry I said something to him and reminded me that he was not a banker and had other duties to perform I asked him if he ever heard of mutli tasking? he just walked away. dufus.!!!
I am supoose to have tomorrow off but they said they may have to call me in. I informed them that I could not get here before 10pm I was going to see my daughter at her football game. Even though she can't march this week because she has 7 holes in her foot from surgical wart removal. I still want to hear her play. plus I want to spend some time with my son. His sinus's are acting up and they are upsetting his stomach which is not good because he gets to play in his first soccer game this saturday. of course I have to work but I should be able to see most of the game.
On the weight loss front I am still doing weight watchers not as strictly as I should but I have lost 40 pounds and Holding. I am going to try to join the gym that has the indoor pool so that the kids and I can get some excercise this winter.
I am trying to plan Christopher's 13th birthday and it is not easy. between my work , chris's work anad soccer games I can't seem to find time for it. I may have to ask my dad' to come up and help with it. I am leaning towards a bowling party but am not sure.

september 5th

Well I am sitting here at work again waiting for 2 am so that the cashiers' can close and I can balance everyone out, and go home for the night only to have to do it again tonight. Christopher has finally come to terms with Football. We have allowed him to switch to soccer were he is happiest. It has made a world of difference. He actually enjoys going to school now.
Courtney is doing well. she saw the dr for her teeth and he is pleased with her progress and doesn't need to see her again unless there is a problem. She is loving her honors english class because she can finally write the long papers that she enjoys. she was given 3 paragraphs and wrote 10 pages and her teacher loved it!!! Unbelievable, there are 2 of them in this world HAHAHA.
I hope to get to the pig roast this weekend it's going to be a tight squeeze. I work until 3am saturday and then I have to get the kids to 9am appoinments in Binghamton (1hr drive) and then get back to nordmont (2hours drive) and be to wrok by 4pm. Oh happy joy.
On a good note my dad's house is starting to look like a house again. the kitchen is starting to get put together. yeah!

ho hum

I am at work and it is 1:45am and these people really need to go home NOW!!!!! Who in their right mind gambles at this time of the night during the week, in Nichols NY for god sakes. What really sucks is that I have to do this again tomorrow and sat and sun nights. Oh happy joy.

Christopher has hurt his tendon on his right ankle and was not able to suit up for practice today. I am keeping an eye on it and will call the dr wither later today or next week. He can't really aford for this to happen to him right now. He is not adjusting to high school just yet and now this. poor kid latley nithing seems to be going right for him.

Courtney was allowed to try blowing in her clarinet today and was quite sorry that she did. HAHAHA!!! Not that I want her to be in pain, but there are sometimes miss I know everything needs a reality check. but otherwise she is doing fine.

Chris has taken the weekend off so that he can get work done on dad's house. It's coming along slowly but surely. dad's bedroom just needs a few minor things done to it and he can move in to it soon. then the carpet people are going to start working upstairs and the kitchen is finally getting started.

the yard sale is tomorrow and my brother and sister-in-law are going to run it. i will be sleeping. hope it all goes well for them. so much stuff and so little space.

school days

well the kids started school today. Courtney was very excited and ready at 6am, Christopher was so nervous that he made himself sick with a migraine. He went to school but missed football practice. He's still naseous and has stomach cramps now but he will get over it. He is so much like his mother it's scary. I may to slap the lady silly. lol.... Of course I had most of the homework, bubba didn't have alot and courtney was ready to kill her honors teacher. it seems that the women may be a little ditsy.. well, that's according to all of the honor kids in her class.
the job is ok. I'm getting used to it but I still am not sure about it. the hours really suck and they are switching them on me again. apparently you don't have a set schedule. Oh that just makes my life soooo much easier. On the home front of weight loss still holding at 34 pounds. I will never lose more at the rate I'm going because I never now when to eat and when to sleep. sometimes being an adult really bite!!!!!!!!!!!.

Football

Well football camp officially begins today. The jr high squad only has to be there from 4-7pm which is good for the boys but tough on the parents and scheduling.
I have tickets for the 4 of us to go to a picinic and baseball game tuesday night and now I am not sure if bubba is going to be able to go. that really sucks, everytime i try to plan something for the 4 of us to do together something always happens, but i will continue to try and get a family outing yet.
I added a picture of myself to the site. not a very good one but as soon as I loose more weight I will up date it. I am down 34 pounds and still going slowly but steadly.
Chris applied for a job in Elmira, now we are just waiting to hear from the company to see what they have to say, and to talk salary.

Courtney is gearing up for her surgery thursday. her biggest complaint is that she will not be allowed to play her instruments for 1-2 weeks. UGH! life suck for a 15 y/o.

new job

well I just finished my first week at the new job. It's ok, not what I was expecting but it can only get better i hope. It's a little over whelming with all the paper work and constantly try to balance to seperate banks the whole time. we usually have a quater mill to process between the two banks. i haven't even gone over to the other bank that handles the casino. I just hope I haven't made abig mistake.... I am going to give it a good try but I can always start looking for another job in town if I find that this is not working out. This first weekend was hard. I am not used to staying up until 4am and then having to get up with the kids and then trying to sleep a little bit more than go to work. And I hate not having my weekends free. I am spoiled I guess.

Well the kids have been great this weekend and my friend Christine has stepped up to help this first weekend. she kept bubba busy and stayed with him that first night.

Chris is being very supportive, but I still am not sure.

courtney has started her fall band schedule and is going to be very busy, i'm hopin that some of her friend's parents will help out on late fridays to get her home from the games for me.

well on the weight part I am still only down 31 pounds, but that is ok, there is to much other things going on right now so I only hope that I don't gain any. that is my goal for right now.

wow

well today was officially my last day at the foot care centers. I just recieved ne of my licenses in the mail and I have to call the casino tomorrow. I am just getting over food poisoning. I had a real bad case and i am just now able to eat something other than toast and crackers. Yeah! I am the only person I know who can be severely sick and gain weight. so stupid. but I have relost it thank goodness. so I am down 31 pounds. It's slow going but that's ok.

Courtney is done with band camp and the kids did a great show for the parents. We took her to see the oral surgeon today and she is getting her wisdom teeth out Aug 21st. So she will not be able to play any of her instruments for 2 weeks and that is killing her. but the doc said better now than when she is older.

Christopher is preparing for football camp and getting measured for his gear. He is doing so well with his weight lifting and learni his plays. I can't wait to see his first game. I am trying to talk chris into buying a new digital video camera. they are so cool and light weight.

Chris is doing well. starting to work more overtime so he is gone an extra day, but as much as we miss at least he still has a job.

new job

I can't believe it's the 16th already. So much has been going on this past week. I applied for a job at the casino at the end of May and low and behold last week they called and I interviewed and then on Monday they offered me a full time position in the main bank. I now I have to fill out the forms from HELL to get my gaming license. But I am very happy and looking forward to the new challenges. I will miss the people I work with at the Foot Care Centers, but the new job will only be 10 minutes from home instead of 40-45minutes. It has been a very tough decision to make and not one that I did lightly. I wish My friend Sandy was still at work so that I could have talked to her about it and plus she always has a hug and good advice.
Dr. Boyuka was great about helping weigh the pros and cons, she's on vacation this week and I hope she is having a great time.

Well on to the kids. Courtney is down at Penn College taking her smart girls cources. This is her last year to do it and then she moves over to Lycoming College for Business week classes the next 3 years. I have talked to her and she has made some really great friendships the last couple of years with this program and it has really helped her to evaluate what she needs for college. Poor Court will just get back and then have to go right to band camp for a week. She got elected to be her section leader and she kept her librarian position.

Christopher is still lifting weights and going to football practice. I was finally able to find him cleats and now practice goes a lot easier for him. He and Chris are still bowling on Mondays and are doing pretty good.

Big Chris is working overtime alot now that there are only 5 mechanics at the hanger. And we are waiting to hear about when he has to go to Brazil next February. we asked the company to get us some language tapes so that he will be able to understand what is being said to him.

Well on the weight loss front I have finally hit 300 YES!!! now I am aiming for my next 5 pounds, and then I will be able to say I weigh under 300!!!!!

vacation

Well gang vacation was great. The kids each brought a friend and stayed out of trouble. We brought the Bear with us and he seemed to have gotten a lot of rest. It was nice to relax and not worry about home or work. Christopher made some new friends and they have been in touch everyday since we got back. and one of his new friends(Laura) kissed him on their last night at the resort. courtney and her grandfather went out for their traditional birthday dinner and this year they brought courtney's friend izzy with them. christopher and his buddy jay both ended up spending most of their time with girls.

The only bad thing about vacations is that you eventually have to go back home and back to work. today was my first day back and I should have stayed home. the only good out come was that my dad and chris and I went to the down's for lunch and then decided to gamble for a little bit and I won 155 dollars. YEAH!!!!!

well those of you who watch my weight loss I went to vacation and fell off the wagon and enjoyed myself and weighed in and I DID NOT GAIN ANY WEIGHT Yipee!!!!! I am back on the wagon and feel invigerated and ready to lose more weight. My luck is that my family is very helpful and supportative. I have a great sister-in-law who is a good source for recipes. (so just for that reason i need to keep her around) LOL she has also decided to do WW and it's nice to be able to talk to someone when you have ups and downs.

HIP HIP HORAY

Vacation starts tomorrow and boy do I need it. I am suffering form job burn out. On a good note I lost another pound so that makes 28!!!!!!! Just a couples more and I will be under 300 YES!!!! Hopefully while I am on vacation and swimming everyday I will reach that goal. so say a prayer and cross your fingers and toes.

If you don't hear from me next week don't panic, I will be enjoying the spa and pool.

Well I am down 2 more pounds making the total 27# YEAH!!!! it seems to be getting harder but I am still plugging away at it.

christopher is headed out of town again this week, to go to Lake Erie with his buddy Jay. He is getting a little tired of traveling with out family but still enjoying it.

courtney has been staying close to home lately, just hanging out doing her own thing that is kind of cool because for the last couple of years she didn't want to be with us. Oh to be a teenager again (NOT)

well Brandi made it out here last weekend and she brought Scott and it was great to see them. I cna't believe how much they have grown. The jewerly party went pretty good I think. I know the girls had fun. I hope that brandi did.

This weekend I am traveling down to my sister-in-law's to help with a yard sale. Let's hope that people bring their money.

well everyone I lost that pound again so I'm back down to 25 # loss. I wish it would come off just a little faster but I keep plugging away at it.

The kids are doing great. Courtney is going to be 15 next week. eek am I really that old already.
Christopher passed 6th grade and there was a beautiful ceremony. He's headed for Jr High.

My cousin is coming in from Conn. for a jewelry party this weekend. She makes gorgous pieces.

June already

Well everyone i gained one pound, but that's ok. I was REALLY BAD, over my birthday and then I had a sad going away party for a co-worker who I will miss a hell of alot, but I wish her the best. So I will just try harder this week to loose 2 pounds to make up for it. I have started to walk 3-4 night a week and I am up to 1972 steps. YEAH! me..lol...
Tomorrow is the last day of school for the kids and then we have a busy month and will be traveling until afterthe 4th of july.

happy summer

Well weigh in was ok.. I did not gain or lose, but that's ok because I pigged out at a picinic on Monday. So I am still happy with my 25 pounds. I am trying to walk 4times a week now.

the kids are doing great and getting ready for finals and the summer. Christopher is going to graduate from the 6th grade and go into Jr High (OH MY GOD) I am getting old.

Courtney is doing remarkable and we just finished getting her Sophmore schedule together so that we are all pleased with it.

Chris is very lucky that he still has his job, They just laid off 188 people at the company and we were one of the lucky ones. (Thank you God)

back on the wagon

Well folks it makes a difference when you get back on the wagon. I have lost a total of 25 pounds to date. Yipee!!! So let me tell you all to stay on that Weight Watcher Wagon. It's slow going but worth it. my clothes are starting to fit loosely, can't quite go down a size yet but I am working on it. My down fall is that I am hooked on Hot Cocco from Dunkin Donuts, and that starts to take up some of my points. But I am working on that. My brother and his family and the Bear are at the beach this week and I am very enviuos. We have rain and cold weather and they have beautiful sun shine and warm weather. From the phone calls it sounds as if the girls are having a grand time.

Well I never made it to weigh in last night. I was outside with Christopher enjoying the beautiful weather and forgot the time. So I will have to try either this Friday or wait until next Tuesday.

Courtney had try outs for drum major and was a little disappointed because she did not make it for next season. But that's ok because she still has 2 other positions that she holds so it's just less running for mom to have to do. YEAH!.

Oh well

I went for my weigh in and I have gained 2 pounds, but that is ok because we figured it out and every 4 weeks that happens, because of the lovely female human body goes through it's cycle. Oh Happy Joy!!!!
So I just try to drink more water and keep trugging away at it 1 pound at a time.

Kids are doing great. Courtney just got back from her boston trip and she is very happy because she had the chance to see her Red Sox play and win.

Christopher is doing well also. Still working out 3 times a week and he and his father just started bowling a league together.

The Bear was up over the weekend and it was great spending the day with him.

Chris was in Kentucky over the weekend working. I keep encouraging him to travel as much as he can when the company is paying for it.

back to business

Well everyone I am almost back on my feet. Just a little residual dizziness left.. I weighed in and I stayed the same. which is a good thing considering i just spent 7 days in bed. So I hope that I can start walking again and get back on track.

Good news is that Chris is going to the Kentucky Derby again this year. Just a long weekend, but it will be good for him.

the kids are doing great, Courtney is getting ready to leave for her Boston trip and Bubba is getting ready to start his summer bowling league and he is bowling with his father so that will be good for both of them.

bad week

Well folks I did not make my weigh in this week. I have been bed bound since late monday with vertigo and a possible inner ear infection. The doc has put me on meds and I hope that they will take effect soon. I really wish the world would stop spinning and let me off. This really sucks. This would have to happen when the weather is nice. My luck. Oh well god bless to all and keep smiling.

Well I had a great saturday with my nieces. They are growing so quickly. I can't believe how much they grow when you can't see them all the time. Everyone have a great sunday and enjoy the sun.

Hooray

Well familiy here is how it goes, Christine finally has a car and we picked it up on Tuesday April 15th. So I no longer need to take her anywhere. Yeah! for us.

Also I have reached the lose of 20 pounds and I am so excited. Yipee! I can actually put some of my old summer clothes on and they fit.

Spring is finally peaking through the clouds up here in sayre.. Yeah!!!
Sorry it's been so ling since I have chatted. I didn't make weigh in this Tuesday, so I am going to try and go Friday. I have been working extra hours lately to cover office staff vacations. As much as I like the extra money, my body is saying enough. And sometimes you just need to listen to the body.

To play catch up: Courtney came home from Hershey were her and Izzy took 8th place in their FBLA catorgory. We are very proud of her. On top of that she is also going to her 9th grade formal and her grandfather was kind enough to buy her gown and shoes.
Christopher is doing well in football so far and just finished his PSSA's. He plans to go fishing with his Pap on opening day. That should be fun for him.

Chris is in Augusta Georgia for the Masters taking care of the company planes. Luck dog has a 4 bedroom house with a pool and spa, while the rest of us mortals struggle to see the sun. We miss him but hope that he is enjoying the time away and getting the chance to see some of the sights.

April 1st

Ok gang those of you who are following my weight loss. I stayed the same. but that's ok. Haven't been feeing well last couple of days..

Courtney is having a great time in Hershey. She will find out what she placed possibly this evening.
Christopher is doing well. Started his football weight lifting and is doing well and he LIKES it. Oh joy.

Big Chris is getting ready to go to Agusta Georgia for 11 days to take care of planes while people golf.

Just to let everyone know that even though I called everyone that I could think of, I weighed in on Tuesday this week and had and 8 pound loss. Yes READ IT AGAIN *8*pounds. That put's me at a 17.5 loss for 10 weeks. I have been bouncing off the walls with excitment and I made my boss give me hug.

On the family note Courtney is preparing to go to Hershey for FBLA and she has been working hard. Christopher has his bowling banquet tonight and then he starts football training. *not that I run around enough as it is, lets add more to moms load**LOL.

Easter

Hey everyone, Happy Easter to all. We had a great day. The kids and I went down to my brother's for Easter and it was great. The girls and my kids had an easter egg hunt and it's fun to watch Katie and Sarah go after eggs. Bear was generous and each kid had 3 special eggs with money in it.

For those of you who are following my weight loss, I could not weigh in on Friday because there was an electrical outage up in Vestal, so I will have to weigh in on Tuesday in Waverly..

I weighed myself on my dads scale( its very accurate) It said I loss 5.4 Pounds so I can't wait to see what the weight watchers scale says. Let's keep our fingers crossed. I have been trying really hard to stay on task with all that lovely chocolate around. I have only had 1 piece and it was only 2 points. YEAH!!!

I actually went for a walk on Saturday and it felt great until that night when the pills had to come out, but it was worth it. The sun felt great. I love spring, not to cold and not to hot.

crazy week

This has been a crazy week and I am appy it's almost over. Work has has it's own problems, same ol stuff. The kids have been ouchy and I am so happy that they have a couple of days off. I am just getting over being sick with some type of intestinal bug. Tomorrow is weigh in so lets keep our fingers crossed.

Christopher signed up for football last night and next week starts going to the weight room 3 days a week to start strengthing up for the season.

Courtney is getting ready to leave for Hershey next week for FBLA to compete. I will be happy to see her go for a couple days. I love her but she is such a teenager.**UGH***

sad and happy weekend

On a happy note Courtney competed in Forensics and placed in something called Super Congress. Which according to her supervisor is very good for a 1st year. Christopher did bowling this weekend for fun and scored well. He is coming along with bowling. We also recieved Christopher's Jr High schedule. He's going to be busy, no study hall, and then he has football on top of everything else.

On a sad note, those of you who know Rosemary, she lost her brother this past week. So I am attending my second funeral this week. Let's hope that things get better for everyone.

CRAPPY DAY``

Well this has been a crappy day all around. To all of you females you will understand this.. I HATE BEING A FEMALE **THIS WEEK*** Between the funeral and TIM I have gained 2 pounds,, so that makes me only at a ten pound loss. ****Again CRAP!!!!****
And to make matters worse it has started to rain,, UGH!!!!!
Let's hope tomorrow starts off better and keep your fingers crossed for next week..

Sad news

We just found out that Chris's maternal great grandmother has passed away. It's sad but she had lived a long full life, she was 102 and had seen many changes in the world. We will be going to her services on Thursday.

Jazz Band

Oh happy joy. we just found out that jazz band has started today, but due to a vote the first rehersal will be next week since half of jazz was in the pitt band for "South Pacific" . The musical was great. All of the kids did a fantastic job on stage and behind the scenes.

We decided to so a family fun night and go bowling(not me I just watch). Well let's just say that Chris and Christopher do really well, but Courtney's goal was to see how many gutter balls that she could make. Well she is really good at that. Out of the 2 games they bowled her high score was 32. YEAAH!!!!! They boys did great as usual. I'm trying to talk Chris into summer bowling with Christopher. It's on Monday nights and starts in May. I think it would be good for both of them.

Then we decided to go out for dinner and ended up with pizza and wings and salad. I am very proud of myseld because I still have points left over for a snack later tonight. I think what I am learning the most from weight watchers is portion control. Which is really helping me, plus I did not realize what I was putting in my mouth until I had to write it all down.

Well friends and family I have reached my first 10 pound weight loss**YEAH!!!!** I actually have exceeded it by loosing 12 pounds. Lets hear it for this girl.......

On the kid front Courtney is in Pit band for the musical "South Pacific" at her high school. We made opening night and it was great. All the kids were great. It's amazing how these kids dedicate to something like this. The musical is 3 hours long, but well worth it. It must be pretty good because Bubba actually went tonight with his buddies. Christopher has brought home three 90 and above scores from reading class. This is very good for him because he has been struggling in reading, partially do to nerves and the other part do to his dislike of the teacher. but we are working thru this.

Courtney met with her councelor and got all the classes she wanted for 10th grade. YEAH! It's going to be a difficult year for her. She is taking all college prep classes for English, Chemistry, Personel and Business Law, French III, OH MY GOD and Drivers Ed!!!!EEEK.. She eligiable in December of this year to apply for her permit. Thank God and Nana for Bear because he will have the honor of helping to teach her. I do not have the patients and the nerves to do this.

Christopher is getting a little nervous about Jr High because he is afraid he's not going to make the grade. We have been informing him as long as he does his best and that he ask for help that everthing is going to be just fine. He defiantly has my sensitivity. Poor kid.

It's another weekend

Well everyone here is another weekend at the Harmon residents. Bubba is actually doing homework with his buddy Zachary. They are doing a report on the planets and making a scale model. When do these crazy projects from school end? They are actually doing a very good job and cleaning up after themselves.

Courtney had a Forensics competition today, and did pretty good. They competed in the Government section. Courtney scored 18 out of 40 which is very good for her first attempt. Her councelor was quite proud of her.

Well those of you who are following my loss of weight....I AM 9 pound LIGHTER.... YEAH!!!!!!!

For those of you who know that I am attempting to loose weight. Well I just reached the 5 pound mark. YEAH!!!!! So now I get to work on the next 5.

The Kids are off school tomorrow. Oh bother.. Now I have to think of something to keep them occupied, and the weather is suppose to be crappy. Courtney is with her grandfather keeping him busy for the weekend. Poor Bear. Christopher is went bowling and he is getting pretty good.

I finally got big Chris to order himself a new bowling ball. His is over 20 years old. He and Bubba enjoy the time together.

Christopher recieved the Principles Award. This is given to the kids that have excelled for the marking period in one or all activities. We are very HAPPY!!!! that our Bubba is doing so well. He is very intellegent, but such a boy, and does not always show his smarts in his school work.

For those of you who are following my struggle to loose some weight. I have joined Weight Watchers, about 3 weeks ago, and I am up to a 4 pound loosage. If I can loose 1 more pound by Tuesday I will get my 5 point star. So keep your fingers crossed.

Dreary Tuesday

Hi everyone,

My sister-in-law has me hooked on this so I decided to start my own blog so that friends and family can no whats going on the lives the Harmon's.

It is a very dreary Tuesday afternoon and the Harmon's are vegging out. Bubba aka Christopher is home sick from school. He has a stomach virus. Like the trooper that he is, he did try school today but had to come home.

Sis aka Courtney is lucky to be alive. Appearantly all teenagers are brain dead when their parents are speaking to them. She had an eye appointment today at 8am and totaly blew it off. Not intentionally of course, remember she is only 14 1/2 and has yet to learn common sence, she is so into school that she just tore out of the house at 7:30am as usual and completely forgot that not a few hours earlier I had said to her that I would drive her to the docs and then to school.....But noooooo I am a parent and all she heard was Blahhh,blahh,....

Welcome to my world.

For all of you who I have not had a chance to talk to, I have started the New Year by going to Weight Watcher's, yeah I know I have tried this before, but this year I have already started to loose weight and that is always a good sign.

Well goodbye for now and lets hope that I can remember to do this periodically to keep the family updated.
